The first sod for Victory Lutheran College was turned in 1991 in a rural paddock on the outskirts of Wodonga. The school officially opened on the old Drages Airworld site in 1992 as Victory Primary School.

The College moved into secondary education in 2004 and was renamed to Victory Lutheran College.

Currently the College has a total enrolment of 430 students from Prep through to Year 12.
