Welcome from the Head ofJunior School

Victory Lutheran College is divided into three sub-schools; Junior, Middle (Year 6-9) & Senior School (Year 10-12). The Junior School consists of Prep to Year 5.

In recent years the Junior School has steadily grown to become fully doubled streamed, with approximately 300 children. As the Junior School has grown we continue to strive to ensure a small school feel is maintained, where children feel safe and cared for.

The Junior School seeks to provide young children with a formal education in a supportive and caring Christian environment. Each school day begins with singing, devotion and prayer time. Here we focus on God’s love for each one of us, forgiveness through his son Jesus and the assurance that God is with us always.

We are committed to building strong relationships within its community and in the home/school partnership. In our small and caring Junior School community, we work in close partnership with our parents to give every student the care and attention they need to develop self-esteem and confidence- the building blocks for school success. We acknowledge that every child is a unique individual and has the right to develop to his or her optimum.

Victory is blessed to have dedicated and hard working teachers who implement and evaluate new curriculum and programs. A progressive approach to teaching and learning, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development, ensure that the latest developments in technology and methodology are incorporated into the whole curriculum.
