Senior School Curriculum

Our expanding curriculum allows us to offer a variety of pathways for students to pursue. Traditional VCE pathways are available through a large variety of subjects, for those seeking to undertake Tertiary study, or looking to keep their options open. Students are able to undertake VET Certificates as part of either their VCE or VCAL studies, providing an opportunity to attain a nationally recognised industry qualification.

The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning is an alternative to the VCE and offers students three levels which match their needs and abilities. It is designed to provide students with practical experience, ‘employability’ skills and personal development opportunities which will take them on to further training in the work place or at TAFE.

Year 10 students have the opportunity to begin their VCE course early, by undertaking one Unit 1/2 subject during their Year 10 course. Year 10 students also participate in two weeks of work experience throughout the year giving them an insight into life beyond school and to assist them in their career planning.
