Year 4 - drawings and paintings of Ned Kelly
Students first became familiar with Sidney Nolan's work, then selected one of his paintings as a basis for their own artwork. They began by completing some initial sketches before proceeding to painting. We even heard one parent was so impressed with his son's interpretation that he bought the artwork!
The finished paintings are full of colour and capture the starkness of this bold bushranger's adventures.
