A Christ-Centred Community

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD "Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future."

A Christ-centred Education

Victory Lutheran College provides an innovative education in a Christian environment to teach and nurture strength of character and courage of heart to enable every child learn how to reach their potential.

We acknowledge and celebrate that our Lutheran heritage and Christ-centred approach is the foundation of our values and culture. The gospel of Jesus Christ informs our learning, teaching and human relationships.

Christian Studies

Christian Studies is a core academic subject taught from Foundation to Year 11 in which students can learn, through a Lutheran lens, about God’s ongoing love and care for all people and the planet on which we live.

Christian Studies does not assume faith but rather offers a pathway for making meaning in our students' lives, whilst acknowledging their individual journey of faith. It gives students opportunities to deepen and strengthen personal, spiritual and community connections.

Our College community comes together in Chapel to provide an opportunity to express faith, to seek to understand the relevance of God's word upon our lives. It is an important expression of identity and spirituality for our community.

Chapel is held weekly in Luther Hall, separated into dedicated Primary and Secondary Chapel services. Whole College worship services are held throughout the year to give thanks or to celebrate Christian festivals, such as Easter or for special occasions such as ANZAC Day.

Parents/Guardians are welcome to join us at Chapel (pending COVID-safe guidelines).

Christian Life and Service Learning

Service Learning at Victory challenges students to make a difference in their lives by responding to the needs of others and acting without expecting recognition or reward.

Victory has established a proud tradition of Service Learning and community involvement with local organisations such as Carevan, Foodshare and Our Table to Yours, Souper Day and Random Acts of Kindness, as well as within our own community through programmes such as Peer Support, Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden and charity/fundraising events.

Secondary students undertake Service Learning during the year. The opportunities change from year to year, but students can choose from a range of on-campus activities (e.g. assisting Primary School students/classes/sporting carnivals) or off-campus activities (e.g. local park rejuvenations, Relay for Life) and even to overseas opportunities.

A Lutheran Education
