Upon enrolment, your child will be placed in a Caregroup which is a small group of students from Years 7-12. Caregroup aims to encourage friendships across the different year levels - an important component in holistic social development. Siblings are allocated to the same Caregroup ensuring a ‘family’ atmosphere is developed.
Caregroup meets each morning for roll call, daily notices and for one longer period each week in which most of our well-being activities and programs are delivered. The Caregroup teacher also remains with their group throughout their time at the College, allowing them to forge strong bonds with their students as well as their families.
For our Primary students, their class is their Caregroup where their teacher knows them best. Staff do not follow a 'one size fits all' approach but strive to develop individual pathways for students according to their particular interests and talents.
