Yesterday was a wonderful opportunity for our Year 3 and Year 4 students to spend time with acclaimed Author and Illustrator Peter Carnavas, who visited us from Queensland to share his passion for storytelling and creativity.Oct 22nd 2026
Students were captivated by Peter’s engaging sessions, discovering how powerful verbs and adjectives can bring writing to life and make it more vivid and exciting.
Peter worked on animations live and explained the difference between drawings and animations, inspiring curiosity, creativity and a love of learning as students explored new ways to express their ideas and develop their own writing.
We have no doubt many students will be eager to borrow Peter’s books from the library as they continue their own storytelling journeys.
