Foundation Students Enjoy SES Visit

We are very grateful to the volunteers for giving up their time to support a fabulous morning of learning at Victory.

Local SES volunteers came to visit the Foundation students to support their learning about 'making safe choices' aligned with their Integrated Studies unit. Students were very excited to work as a team to rescue 'Paddy' the platypus and transfer him to safety using the spinal board. They played a giant board game and learnt about keeping homes and objects safe in case of a storm. Plus, they tried on the SES hard hats, and were shown some of the tools and equipment and even had a sit in the back of the SES truck!
