Primary Swimming Carnival

Another win for Murray

Years 4-6 had their Primary Swimming Carnival at WAVES Wodonga on Friday, 3rd March in fantastic conditions for an awesome day of friendly competition.

Many parents/carers and friends turned out to cheer on their loved ones and the athletes responded with some blistering times in the water. Quite a few records were broken on the day including multiple new records for Jorja, Eddie and Chelsea. The relays at the end of the Carnival were hotly contested and brought the cheers to a new decibel level. The novelty races were also a lot of fun!

The House Captains did a marvellous job of leading their teams. Unfortunately, there could be only one winning house and that was Murray. Mitta came in second only four points in front of Kiewa. Special thanks must go to the Year 10 VET Sport and Recreation students who helped out on the day and ensured the Carnival ran smoothly along with staff who also assisted on the day. Well done Murray!
