Victory Lutheran College is seeking Secondary Teachers of English and Humanities to join our dedicated and professional team. The ability to teach VCE English will be highly regarded.
These roles play an important part in delivering engaging, contemporary learning experiences that support students’ academic growth, wellbeing and personal development. Multiple positions are available, offering flexibility in both time fraction and contract length.

About the role
As a Secondary Teacher at Victory Lutheran College, you will:
- Teach English and/or Humanities using contemporary, inquiry‑based teaching practices
- Design learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and VCE (where applicable)
- Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students
- Create safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environments with clear routines and high expectations
- Use assessment and data to inform teaching, provide timely feedback and support student growth
- Exercise pastoral care that reflects College values and restorative practices
- Build positive, supportive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Contribute to a collaborative staff culture through teamwork, reflection and professional learning
Teachers are actively involved in the life of the College and contribute to co‑curricular activities, events, camps and community life as required.
Opportunities for Leadership
For staff interested in leadership development, Positions of Responsibility (POR) applications will open toward the end of Term 2 2026 for roles commencing in 2027. These opportunities provide a pathway for staff who wish to extend their impact and contribute to leadership within the College.

Appropriate qualifications and current VIT registration (or the ability to obtain it) are required.

- Current VIT registration
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check
