Parents & Friends
Parent participation is critical to the effectiveness and success of the Parents and Friends Association. All parents are encouraged to take an active role in the Association by supporting the various activities that may be planned each year to foster fellowship throughout the College community and to raise funds to assist the College in providing our students with a high standard of equipment, facilities and resources. They also arrange fun, social activities to give us the chance to build our sense of social connection within our College community.
In consultation with the College, funds raised by the Parents and Friends Association may be used to support the provision of:
- internal and external furnishings
- computer equipment
- audio-visual facilities
- resources for the library
- playground equipment
- musical instruments
- classroom and library books
plus a wide range of invaluable aids to assist the students' education, comfort and enjoyment.
The Parents and Friends Association is established under the approval of the College Council and is required to act under the policies of the College and under the direction of the Principal. Each family unit who has a child at the College is automatically invited to attend functions, meetings and events.
In addition, people who are associated with, or have an interest in, the College may also become involved.
