2019 Secondary Swimming Carnival

Murray takes the title for the second year in a row!

Congratulations to Murray for their second victory in the pool at the Secondary Swimming Carnival yesterday. In an upset, Mitta came second placing Kiewa third in what might seem unfamiliar territory.

In what was a stellar day of competition at WAVES Wodonga, there was something for everyone with even staff sneaking a team into the Senior's boys' and girls' relay and acquitting themselves quite honourably.

It was great to see house pride on display, with colour, costumes and cheering from the sidelines. In addition to the swimming, advantage was taken of the extra space at WAVES with spectators enjoying a cricket match between races as well as an impromptu obstacle-course-fun-run-relay (not quite the official name on the racing schedule) for the Year 7 students in the Splash Park.

Final Results

  • Murray  2,201
  • Mitta    2,017
  • Kiewa   1,831

Congratulations to our age champions below and well done Murray!
