Primary Athletics Carnival

We knew it was close but not that close! Murray clinch the 2025 Primary Athletics Carnival by a mere 18 points over Kiewa.

The recent Primary Athletics Carnival in Term 2 was a resounding success, thanks in part to the splendid weather that graced the event. Over three days, students showcased their athletic prowess, and the atmosphere was electric.

Highlights:

  • Student Participation: A heartfelt thank you to all students for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the carnival.
  • Teacher Support: Teachers played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the day, providing guidance and encouragement to the students.
  • VET Sport and Recreation Students: These students were instrumental in assisting with measuring and scoring, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Music by Jules: The event was energized by the vibrant music curated by Jules, keeping spirits high and motivating participants.

House Points Standings:

  • 1st Place: Murray – 1756 points
  • 2nd Place: Kiewa – 1738 points
  • 3rd Place: Mitta – 1648 points

The competition was the closest it has been in years, with Murray clinching victory by a mere 18 points over Kiewa. Congratulations to all houses for their spirited performances!
