Schools Tree Day

As part of their service learning in Christian Studies Year 2 took part in Schools' Tree Day. We have been learning about the different ways to serve God’s creation through caring for nature. Thanks to the enduring hard work of Ms Deb Brown, students were provided with a tree to plant around the College to rebuild native vegetation and support local wildlife. 

There were lots of smiles as Year 2 dug away and planted a range of natives along the fence line, filling out the garden beds that began with a similar afternoon in 2020! 

Yes, the digging was a bit tough but nothing stops Year 2! Not even the odd worm or grub!
