Victory Lutheran College is seeking an organised and relationship-focused leader to join our Secondary School as Sport Coordinator (Secondary).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate the College's Secondary Sport Program across Years 7–12, creating opportunities for students to participate, compete, develop leadership skills and represent the College with pride. Working closely with students, staff, families and sporting organisations, you will play a key role in shaping the sporting culture and experience of our Secondary School.

Position Details

  • Fixed-term appointment until the end of 2029.
  • Position may be appointed through either a teaching or non-teaching pathway.
  • For teachers, the fixed-term Sport Coordinator appointment is accompanied by an ongoing teaching position.
  • Teaching pathway includes a Position of Responsibility with release time allocated for Sport Coordinator responsibilities.
  • Opportunity to lead and coordinate the College's Secondary Sport Program across Years 7–12.


About the role

As Sport Coordinator (Secondary), you will lead the planning, implementation, promotion and continuous improvement of sport across the College.

You will:

  • Coordinate interhouse sport, interschool sport and representative sporting pathways.
  • Lead Secondary School sporting carnivals and major sporting events.
  • Oversee House sport programs and support the development of House Captains and Vice Captains.
  • Promote participation, achievement and positive sporting culture across the College.
  • Manage sport communication, records, results, awards and representative pathways.
  • Build strong partnerships with students, staff, families and external sporting organisations.
  • Represent the College within School Sport Victoria and associated sporting networks.

Appropriate qualifications and current VIT registration or Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain it) are required.
